Into the wild…

MNTM was originally contracted to complete the stakeout of approximately 14 miles of Central Hudson electric lines between substations located in Gardiner and Kerhonkson. A majority of the project area was located within the Minnewaska State Park. Due to the mountainous terrain, accessibility to the site provided a unique challenge to our surveyors completing the job. In order to access the more isolated areas, members of our team were flown into the site by helicopter.

Due to scheduling conflicts with other contractors and the capability of our surveyors, MNTM was contracted to complete two additional sections of utility line stakeout, reaching as far as the Town of Rosendale.
The unique method of site accessibility, coupled with the panoramic views from the Minnewaska Park made this one of the more memorable projects our team has completed.
